Ike's Smoked Salmon- Alder Smoked and Ike's Salmon Dip Recalled for Undeclared Wheat

Poulsbo, WA (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today reported that Ike's Fish is recalling Ike's Smoked Salmon- Alder Smoked and Ike's Salmon Dip, because the product contained undeclared wheat.

This Class II recall was initiated by the company, by visit on November 25, 1999, followed by letter.  This is the first notice the FDA has issued to the general public of the recall.  The FDA considers this recall complete.

Approximately 70 pounds were distributed, in Washington state.  The Smoked Salmon Alder Smoked can be identified by the code 10 JAN 00.  The Salmon Dip can be identified by the code 25 DEC 99.
