(SafetyAlerts) - Reckitt Benckiser, the maker of French's, announces a new cheddar-cheese flavored addition to its French Fried Onion family of products.

French's Cheddar French Fried Onions, as well as the original French's French Fried Onions and French's Potato Sticks are made on the same equipment as products containing milk and/or soy ingredients.

French's Cheddar French Fried Onions will have the U D (dairy) kosher symbol displayed on the packaging. In addition, the original French's French Fried Onions and the French's Potato Sticks packaging will reflect the change in the manufacturing process of the product and be re-labeled from Kosher Pareve to U D.

French's Cheddar French Fried Onions are labeled accurately with the current ingredient information.

Consumers with questions may contact the Reckitt Benckiser Consumer Hotline at (800) 841-1256 Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. EST, or (800) 888-0192 in Canada.
