Han Sung SikPoom Has Recalled Mimi Conf. Peanut Biscuits

Ridgewood, NY (SafetyAlerts) - Han Sung SikPoom Trading Co. has recalled 11.62 oz. packages of Mimi Conf. Peanut Biscuits because the product contains undeclared eggs.

The consumption of eggs by allergic individuals has been reported to elicit severe reactions. Life threatening and anaphylactic shock could occur in certain egg sensitive individuals upon consumption of eggs and products containing eggs. No illness or adverse reaction resulting from consumption of this product has been reported. The recalled peanut biscuits are packaged in uncoded plastic bags containing 15 individual biscuits.

 The product was distributed in the New York Metropolitan Area. The recall was initiated after routine sampling by New York State Dept. of Agriculture & Markets food inspectors revealed the presence of eggs in this product. The company has suspended distribution of this product. Consumers who have purchased the 11.62 oz. Mimi Conf. Peanut Biscuits are urged to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 718-821-3103.
