Vanguard Culinary Group Has Recalled Frozen Meat Loaf

Fayetteville, N.C. (SafetyAlerts) - Vanguard Culinary Group, LTD has recalled 37,400 pounds of frozen meat loaf that contains undeclared anchovy (fish).

The products being recalled are 24-lb. boxes of "Ryan's, Steaks, Buffet & Bakery, Old-Fashioned Meatloaf." Each box contains four, six-pound trays. Each box bears a product code numbered "2143" or lower, as well as "EST. 8334" inside the USDA seal of inspection.


The product was produced before May 24, 2002 and distributed to restaurants and distributors nationwide.
