MINI CORN MUFFINS RECALL

(SafetyAlerts) - Discount Connection, Inc., Donut Delite Bakery Co., 1285 Redfern Avenue, Far Rockaway, New York is recalling all of its Mini Corn Muffins, because they may contain undeclared milk allergens. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk allergens run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

Mini Corn. Muffins were sold throughout the New York metropolitan area in retail stores. Mini Corn Muffins are sold in an uncoded 12-ounce, plastic container.

The recall was initiated after routine sampling done June 30, 2003 by Food Inspectors of the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets revealed the presence of milk allergens in the product, which was not declared on the label.

There have been no reported illnesses as of this date. The chance that this fresh product remains in the market place is remote.

Consumers who have purchased Mini Corn Muffins are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact Mr. Moshe Orlansky at 1-718-337-5005.
