Land O'Lakes Voluntarily Recalls
Salted Stick Butter
Land O'Lakes is voluntarily recalling a limited quantity of LAND O LAKES®
Salted Stick Butter in one-pound packages. The product may contain small
fragments of metal. There have been no reports of injury or illness
associated with the consumption of the product covered by this recall.
The product was distributed in: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois,
Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi,
Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina,
South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
The product was sold in retail grocery stores between June 11, 2003, and
July 26, 2003. The affected product has one of the following production
codes listed after the date, which is located above the Nutrition Facts on
(date) KE 107P
(date) KE 108P
(date) KE 109P
If you have a package of LAND O LAKES® Salted Stick Butter that contains one
of these production codes, you are asked to return it to the store where it
was purchased for a full refund.
This voluntary recall does not include any other butter products, production
codes or any other LAND O LAKES® products.
