Dried Octopus, Net Wt. 6 oz. (170 g.) Product of Japan. Product is packed in a clear, flexible plastic package. Barcode # 7 85165 10191. Recall # F-449-3

CODE
All products on the market at the time the recall was initiated.

RECALLING FIRM/MANUFACTURER
ADCO (USA) Inc., Brooklyn, NY, by press release and letters dated June 11, 2003. Florida State initiated recall is ongoing.

REASON
Product contained undeclared sulfites based on the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services' sampling and analysis.

VOLUME OF PRODUCT IN COMMERCE
80 cartons.
