Recall Update: CORA brand Paprika Recall is Complete

(SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) released the following information.

PRODUCT
CORA brand Paprika, 4.25 oz. plastic jar with red cap. Recall # F-454-3.

CODE
All lots including 21002 and 21003, contained in a shipment received from Canada with invoice date of 4/14/03. Investigators observed some jars with illegible codes.

RECALLING FIRM/MANUFACTURER
Casa Imports, Inc., Utica, NY, by visits on June 11, 2003, and press release on June 12, 2003. FDA initiated recall is complete.

REASON
Product is contaminated with salmonella.

VOLUME OF PRODUCT IN COMMERCE
18 cases x 12 jars.
