This dried fruit product is labeled mainly in Chinese and identified as "Preserved Mixed Plums", packaged in a flexible plastic bag, net wt 5.3 oz. (50g). Product of China. There are 48 - 5.3 oz. packages per case. Recall # F-453-3.

BEST BEFORE: 2003.03.13.

RECALLING FIRM/MANUFACTURER
Lion Pavilion Ltd., Brooklyn, NY, by telephone on August 9, 2002. New York State initiated recall is complete.

REASON
Product contained undeclared sulfites (173 ppm) based on New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets analysis.

VOLUME OF PRODUCT IN COMMERCE
8 cases (48 - 5.3 oz. packages per case).
