CODE
Production code (printed on top or bottom of the can), begins with H2FF15, and is deciphered as: H = August (production month); 2 = last digit of year produced (2002); FF = Faribault Foods, the manufacturer; and 15 = day of month/production day.

RECALLING FIRM/MANUFACTURER
Recalling Firm: General Mills, Inc., Minneapolis, MN, by press release on October 22, 2002 and by e-mail dated October 23, 2002.
Manufacturer: Faribault Foods, Inc., Faribault, MN. Firm initiated recall is complete.

REASON
The product may not have been adequately processed to eliminate pathogens of public health concern.

VOLUME OF PRODUCT IN COMMERCE
