Shaw's Supermarkets Has Recalled Bakery Brownies Blondie

West Bridgewater, MA (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said that Shaw's Supermarkets, Inc. has recalled all Shaw's and Star Market store locations, Shaw's in-store Bakery Brownies Blondie 6-packs.

Shaw's issued the recall because the Brownies Blondie contains peanuts, which is not listed in the ingredient statement on the product packaging. Consumption of this product by individuals that have a peanut allergy can result in a series reaction.

The UPC on the Brownies Blondie 6-packs is 0 045674 331593. Customers who purchased the Blondie Brownies may bring the product back to the store for a full refund. Customers who have questions or concerns about the recall can contact Shaw's Consumer Response Center's toll free number, 1-888-431-7429.

Shaw's Supermarkets, Inc. manages 185 Shaw's and Star Market store locations and two distribution centers throughout the six New England states. The company serves more than four million customers each week and has nearly 30,000 associates.
