Friendly, WV  (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said that Crompton Corporation/OSI Specialties is recalling  Sentry Simethicone Emulsion USP.

This is the first public notice of this Class llI recall issued by the FDA.

D-315-1, Sentry Simethicone Emulsion USP, (30% Active) in 40 pound pails and 425 pound drums,Bulk pharmaceutical, OTC

Codes:
Batches 248450, 248451, 248453, 248454, 248455, all expire 10/2002

REASON:
Failed USP Defoaming Test.
