Ford Has Recalled the 2001-2003 WINDSTAR

Component: LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES

Potential Number Of Units Affected : 257119

Summary:
2001-2003 FORD WINDSTAR VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM MARCH 7, 2001, THROUGH NOVEMBER 5, 2002. THE SEAT FLOOR-TO-SEAT LATCH CAN RELEASE UNDER LOAD.
Consequence:

Remedy:
OWNERS WILL BE INSTRUCTED TO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED FORD DEALER TO HAVE THE SEAT LATCH REPLACED FREE OF CHARGE. FORD HAS NOT YET PROVIDED THE AGENCY WITH A NOTIFICATION SCHEDULE.
