DaimlerChrysler Has Recalled the 2002 Plymouth Ram
(SafetyAlerts)
- The
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has released the
following information.
Models: Plymouth Ram Year: 2002
Number Potentially Involved: 195,500
Dates of Manufacture: January 1997 – March 2002
Defect: On certain pickup trucks, the detent system on the exterior mirror
housings may break, potentially affecting the rearward field of vision.
Remedy: Dealers will install a mirror detent retainer kit to correct this
condition. The manufacturer has reported that owner notification began April
7, 2003. Owners may contact DaimlerChrysler at 1-800-853-1403.
