- Polaris Has Recalled the 1999 Victory V92C , V92C SPECIAL EDITION ,
V92DC DELUXE CRUISER , V92SC SPORTCRUISER because of a fuel pump problem.
Number of Units Affected: 9120
Manufactured: 07/1998 - 07/2001
ON CERTAIN MOTORCYCLES, THE FUEL PUMP CAN FAIL.
THIS COULD CAUSE POOR ENGINE PERFORMANCE AND POSSIBLE ENGINE STALLING,
INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REPLACE THE FUEL PUMPS. OWNER NOTIFICATION IS
EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING NOVEMBER 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN
AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE
REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT VICTORY AT 1-715-294-533.
