Krause Recalls Certain MultiMatic and  TriMatic Ladders

Roscoe, IL (SafetyAlerts) - The Krause Ladder company is recalling some articulated ladders manufactured from December 1, 1997 to May 22, 1998 because a hinge may unlock during use, and the ladder may collapse. This could result in serious injury or death.

The Krause ladders that may be affected by this recall are the:
12 foot MultiMatic - Model Number 121482
16 foot MultiMatic - Model Number 121499
12 foot TriMatic - Model Number 121321

These ladders have labels with CSA Issue Numbers KL-0001, KL-0002, KL-0003, or KL-0004, or Underwriters Laboratories Issue Numbers AC 7404 through 7488, 7494, or 7495.

Krause is warning consumers not to use these ladders if you suspect it is subject to this recall.
