Costco Wholesale Corp. Recalls Chitech/Dynacraft Bicycles

No picture avail.Issaquah, WA (SafetyAlerts) - Costco Wholesale Corp. has announced it is recalling the 20" Unisex Fugitive Bicycle model manufactured by Chitech/Dynacraft Industries. The manufacturer reported that on a small number of thse bicycles the front brakes may not have been properly adjusted during assembly.

No problems or injuries have been reported.

These bicycles were sold at Costco Wholesale locations in the Northwest, Northeast and Bay Areas between September 1 and October 11, 2000. The bicycle was sold as item number 343888.

If you purchased Chitech/Dynacraft Industries 20" Unisex Fugitive Bicycles from Costco between September 1 and October 11, 2000, please return the bicycle to a Costco Wholesale location for a full refund or exchange it for a new bicycle.

Consumers are advised to stop using the bicycles immediately.
