Nordstrom Recalls Infant and Toddler Jackets
Seattle, WA (SafetyAlerts) - Nordstrom Inc. has
announced they are recalling approximately 2,250 infant and toddler jackets. Snaps located
on the flap pockets of these jackets could be removed, presenting a choking hazard to
infants and young children.
Nordstrom is not aware of any injuries from these
jackets. This recall is being conducted to prevent injuries.
The recalled garments are of pink or blue,100
percent cotton, gingham with a hood and flap pockets. The garments were sold in infant
sizes 6 through 24 months and toddler sizes 2T through 4T. Each collar label
displays "Baby N" is on it and the words "nowhere but Nordstrom" is on
each jacket's hood label.
Nordstrom stores nationwide sold these jackets
during January 2000 for about $34 to $36.
Consumers should stop using these jackets
immediately and return them to any Nordstrom store for a refund. For more information,
