ASPCA Responds to Recent Announcement Made By Nylabone Products Thursday

(SafetyAlerts) - The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) is investigating a recent announcement made by Nylabone Products, a division of T.F.H. Publications stating that they are replacing its Plaque Attacker(R) line of dental dog bones. Nylabone is a participant in the ASPCA Seal of Approval Program, a fundraising program to promote animal welfare by serving as a resource on pet products for consumers. "We are taking this matter very seriously and want to reassure consumers of our continued commitment to the protection of companion animals," says Dr. Larry Hawk, ASPCA President and CEO.
