Chef Boyardee Beef Ravioli Recalled

MILTON, PA (SafetyAlerts) - International Home Foods, Co. is recalling their Chef Boyardee Beef Ravioli in Tomato and Meat Sauce (26-oz can) and Chef Boyardee Mini Ravioli (15-oz can) because the product may be adulterated with pieces of vinyl can lining

The company, the Indiana State Department of Health, and the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline received various complaints from consumers who reported finding pieces of plastic in cans of the product.

The ravioli was distributed to retail food stores mation wide and bears the Federal Establishment code of "Est. 794"

Consumers should not eat the recalled product but should return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
