STOUFFER'S Brand Homestyle Baked Chicken Recalled

GAFFNEY, SC (SafetyAlerts) - Nestle Frozen Food Company is recalling some of it's STOUFFER'S Brand Homestyle Baked Chicken in Gravy with Mashed Potatoes (8 7/8 oz) because the product may be adulterated with metal fragments from a bimetallic thermometer.

On Feb. 2, 1998, a consumer in Collinsville, Okla., reported finding part of a thermometer dial in product

The recalled dinners may be identified by the UPC Code of 13800-10170 and the date codes of:

  • 97340GS0 T P7991
  • 97340GS0 U P7991
  • 97340GS0 V P7991
  • 97340GS0 W P7991

The product was distributed to retail food stores in Alabama, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia.

People who have this product should not eat the dinner and should return it for a refund to the place of purchase
