Staten Island, NY (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) today reported that 96 Vreeland Street Corporation, doing business as
Rosa Maria Bakery, is recalling Italian Cookies, packaged in rigid plastic containers of
16 ounces, because the product contains undeclared FD&C Yellow No. 5, FD&C Yellow
#6, FD&C Red No. 3, and FD&C Blue No. 1.
96 Vreeland Street Corporation, doing business as Rosa Maria Bakery, Staten Island, New
Manufacturer, by telephone on November 16, 1998. Completed field correction (relabeling)
resulted from sample analysis and follow-up by the New York State Department of
Agriculture and Markets.
