Brooklyn, NY (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) today reported that Sun Golden Cookies Corporation is recalling Sun
Golden brand Almond Cookies, artificially flavored, packaged in 1 pound 8 ounce cardboard
boxes, because the product contained undeclared FD&C Yellow No. 6.

Manufacturer, by telephone and visit on November 9, 1998. Completed field correction
(relabeling) resulted from sample analysis and follow-up by the New York State Department
of Agriculture and Markets.
Approximately 4,000 boxes were distributed.
