Coden, AL (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) today reported that Johnson Sea Products Inc. is recalling Johnson
Sea Products brand Crawfish Patty, packed 18 3-ounce patties per box and 6 boxes per
cardboard case, because the product contains undeclared whole eggs.
All codes on the market which do not list whole eggs as an ingredient.
Johnson Sea Products Inc., Coden, Alabama.
Manufacturer, by telephone on March 25, 1999, followed by letter on April 1, 1999.
Firm-initiated field correction ongoing.
84 cases were distributed; firm estimated that very little product remained on market at
time of recall initiation.
