CVS Pharmacy Recalls 16 Ounce Ceramic Mugs

Woonsocket, RI (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today reported that CVS Pharmacy, Inc. is recalling 8 different designs of 16 ounce ceramic mugs because the mugs contain excessive levels of leachable lead.

CVS Pharmacy, Inc., Woonsocket, Rhode Island, by E-mail sent on or about May 4, 1999, followed by hard copy on May 14, 1999. Firm-initiated recall ongoing.
