Klein's Delights Pure Chocolate Lentils Recalled

Brooklyn, NY (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today reported that Klein's Naturals Ltd. is recalling Klein's Delights Pure Chocolate Lentils, packaged in 8 ounce rigid plastic tubs, because the product declares several color additives in terms of the European designation which suggests the colors were not certified.

The color additives in question are:
1) E132 - Indigotine - certifiable as FD&C Blue No. 2
2) E102 - Tartrazine - certifiable as FD&C Yellow No. 5
3) E110 - Sunset Yellow - certifiable as FD&C Yellow No. 6.
