Golden Lion Brand Rice Crackers Recalled

Brooklyn, NY (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today reported that Blooming Import Company, Inc. is recalling Golden Lion Brand Rice Crackers, in 6 ounce bags, because the product contains four undeclared color additives.

These additives are Tartrazine, Sunset Yellow FCF, Erythrosine and Brilliant lue FCE.  These addives also do not appear to be certified.

RECALLED BY
Blooming Import Company, Inc., Brooklyn, New York, by letter dated March 3, 1999. Completed field corrected resulted from sample analysis and follow-up by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets.
