Meijer in Anderson Indiana Recalls Ground Beef

Anderson, IN (SafetyAlerts) - A Meijer Grocery store located at 6610 Scatterfeild Rd. in Anderson Indiana today announced the recall of some of it's ground beef, sold in the last two days, because the product may contain tiny metal fragments.

The recalled ground bears the sell-date label of November 15, 1999 and also have a orange star sticker that reads "Ground fresh Sunday" or "Ground fresh daily."

Anyone who purchased ground beef from the Anderson Meijer store on Sunday, November 14 or Monday, Novemeber 15, 1999 should return it to the store for a full refund or exchange. Meijer has stated that they will give customers who return the recalled ground beef a ten-dollar gift certificate.
