Aroma Trading Corp. Recalls Porcelain Coffee Set for Possible Lead Contamination

Vernon, CA (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today reported that Aroma Trading Corporation is recalling certain 12 Piece Porcelain Coffee Sets (6 cups and 6 saucers), made in China by Raoping Shengxing Porcelain Craft Company.  The saucers of the coffee sets contain excessive levels of leachable lead.

This Class II recall was initiated by the company September 16, 1999 by letter.  This is the first notice the FDA has issued to the general public of the recall.  This recall is considered complete by the FDA.

Over 140 cases were distributed in California and can be identified by the Manufacturer's Design Or Pattern Number of 29034.
