Frito Lay Recalls Limited Quantity of Ruffles

Plano, TX (SafetyAlerts) - Frito Lay is recalling a limited quantity of 12-1/4 oz. packages of Ruffles™ brand Potato Chips because the product contains undeclared dairy ingredients.

Persons who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk or milk proteins run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

Affected product is identified with a manufacturing code of 411220770 and a code date of Sep 25 printed on the upper right front of the bag. The affected product was produced in the company's Belloit, Wisc. plant, and was distributed in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota,

A limited quantity of 12-1/4 oz. Ruffles™ brand Potato Chips packages may actually contain Cheddar and Sour Cream Ruffles™ brand Potato Chips.

Consumers who have a 12-1/4 oz. package of Ruffles™ brand Potato Chips with a manufacturing code of 411220770 and a code date of Sep 25 printed on the upper right of the bag should call Frito Lay at 1-800-352-4477 for a replacement coupon.
