K&S Meats Has Recalled Countryside brand Meatballs

(SafetyAlerts) - K&S Meats has recalled its Countryside brand meatballs because the product contains undeclared eggs and sesame seeds.

The product has been sold in retail food stores in the following Wisconsin areas: Janesville, La Crosse, Madison, Marshall, Mauston, Milwaukee, Onalaska, Reedsburg, Tomah and other metropolitan areas of the state.

The meatballs were packaged on plastic-wrapped pink foam trays. Soderholm Wholesale Foods, Inc. is named as distributor at the bottom of the label.

Any meatballs purchased before December 11, 2001 should be returned to the place of purchase for a refund. Consumers with questions should call the company at
