This is the first public notice of
recall issued by the FDA.
These products are
being recalled because egg yolks are a component of the salad dressing but
not sublisted in the ingredient statement. People who are allergic to egg
yolks run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they
consume these sandwich products.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.
These products were distributed in retail stores in Tennessee, Kentucky and
Customers who are allergic to egg yolks are urged to return the product to
the place of purchase for a full refund.
