Mrs. Gerry's Kitchen Recalls Supreme Seafood Salad

Albert Lea, MN  (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said that Mrs. Gerry's Kitchen, Inc. is recalling Mrs. Gerry's Kitchen Inc. Supreme Seafood Salad, net weight 4 lbs.

This is the first public notice of this Class I recall issued by the FDA.

RECALL NUMBER, PRODUCT AND CODE:
F-523-1, Mrs. Gerry's Kitchen Inc. Supreme Seafood Salad, net weight 4 lbs.

Codes:
All lots distributed prior to the recall were mislabeled. The
lots in distribution, which are within expiration, have use-by dates of 04/14/01 to 05/10/01.

REASON:
The product contained undeclared eggs, pollack, snow crabmeat, soy protein and wheat starch.
