Frito-Lay, Inc. Recalls Doritos

Plano, TX (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said that Frito Lay, Inc is recalling "Frito Lay *** Doritos *** Nacho Cheesier! *** Tortilla Chips *** Net Wt. 1 3/4 oz. *** FRITO-LAY.

This is the first public notice of this Class I recall issued by the FDA.

RECALL NUMBER, PRODUCT AND CODE:
F-569-1, "Frito Lay *** Doritos *** Nacho Cheesier! *** Tortilla Chips *** Net Wt. 1 3/4 oz. *** FRITO-LAY, INC. PLANO, TX 75024-4099"

Codes:
The lot number of the recalled product is located in the lower right quadrant of the front of the bag: June 26 2712 10703

REASON:
Undeclared yellow #5, Blue #1 and soy grits due to the presence of Doritos Cooler Ranch Chips being packaged in incorrect packages designed for Doritos Nacho Cheesier chips.
