Frito-Lay, Inc. Recalls Sun Chips, Multigrain Snacks, Original Flavor

Plano, TX (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said that Frito Lay, Inc is recalling "Sun Chips***MULTIGRAIN SNACKS***ORIGINAL FLAVOR***NET WT. 1 1/2 OZ.***FRITO-LAY, INC. PLANO, TX" and packaged in a flexible foil-type bag.

This is the first public notice of this Class I recall issued by the FDA.

RECALL NUMBER, PRODUCT AND CODE:
F-564-1, Product is labeled in part: "Sun Chips***MULTIGRAIN SNACKS***ORIGINAL FLAVOR***NET WT. 1 1/2 OZ.***FRITO-LAY, INC. PLANO, TX" and packaged in a flexible foil-type bag.

Codes:
Two codes are recalled. Code printed in the upper right quadrant of the front of the bag. OCT 02 115220422 and OCT 02 215320522

REASON:
The product contains undeclared dairy ingredients due to the presence of Onion Flavor SunChips in Original Flavor packages.
