Allergy Alert: Organic Energy Bars Recalled

Vashon, WA (SafetyAlerts) - BumbleBar Inc. is recalling 86 cases of its 1.6-ounce Chocolate Crisp BumbleBars because the chocolate used to make the bars contained milk not declared on the label.

Persons who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk or milk proteins run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The affected product was manufactured this year between March 31 and July 25 and distributed in Washington, California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana and Arizona.

The company has resumed production of the Bar using dairy-free chocolate.
