Rookies Snax Brand Trail Mix Recalled

Vernon, CA (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said today that Melissa's™ World Variety Produce Inc. has recalled certain Rookies Snax brand Trail Mix because the recalled product contains undeclared sulfites.

This is the first public notice of this Class II recall issued by FDA.

Rookies Snax (brand) Trail Mix, NET WT. 8 OZ. Ingredients: Raisins, Peanuts, Sunflower Seeds, Dates, Papaya, Pineapple, Cashews, Yogurt Chips.

Manufacturer by telephone beginning on February 7th, 2001. Ongoing recall resulted from sample analysis by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets.
