REL’S Foods Inc. Recalls Chicken Salad Sandwiches

Oakland, CA (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said today that REL’S Foods Inc. has recalled plastic wrapped Chicken Salad Sandwiches because the product contains undeclared sweetened condensed milk.

This is the first public notice of this Class II recall issued by FDA.

PRODUCT
Chicken Salad Sandwich in 5 oz. and 7.4 oz plastic wrapped packages.

Recall #F-347-1.

CODES:
All implicated lots.

MANUFACTURER:
REL’S Foods Inc., Oakland, CA.

RECALLED BY:
Manufacturer, by pager and telephone calls on 1/31/01.

DISTRIBUTION:
NV and CA.

QUANTITY:
4,727 thin (5 oz.) and 4,963 thick (7.4 oz.) chicken
salad sandwiches.
