Recalls 5 Chinese Herb Products
CA (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and
Drug Administration (FDA) said today that Mayway Corp. has recalled 5 Chinese herb
products because they contain aristolochic acid, a potent carcinogen and nephrotoxin.
This is the first public notice of
this Class I
recall issued by FDA.
a) Temple of Heaven Brand Chinese Herbs, Top Grade, Radix Aristolochiae, Net Wt.
