Dried Noodle Recalled
NY (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and
Drug Administration (FDA) said today that Strong America Limited has recalled Golden brand
Dried Noodle because the product contains the uncertified color additive tartrazine
(certifiable as FD&C Yellow No. 5).
This is the first public notice of
this Class II
recall issued by FDA.
Golden brand Dried Noodle. Recall #F-319-1.
Fujian Provincial Cereal, Oils, + Foodstuffs Import & Export Corp., Fuzhou, China.
Strong America Limited, Brooklyn, NY., by letter on 5/5/00. *Completed recall resulted
from sample analysis and follow-up by the New York State Dept. of Agriculture &
