Drug Administration (FDA) said today that Haifa Smoked Fish Inc. has recalled Cold Smoked
Sea Bass because the product was contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
This is the first public notice of
this Class I
recall issued by FDA.

Manufacturer, by telephone and letter on 2/15/01. FDA-initiated recall *complete.
