Goldline Brand of Genaton Antacid Recalled

Middletown, NY (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said today that RIJ Pharmaceutical Corp. has recalled certain Goldline brand of Genaton Antacid because of product odor and discoloration.

This is the first public notice of this Class II recall issued by FDA.

MANUFACTURER:
RIJ Pharmaceutical Corp. Middletown, NY.

Manufacturer, by letter dated 3/26/01. Firm-initiated recall ongoing.

DISTRIBUTION:
Nationwide.

QUANTITY:
12,899 bottles.
