January 22, 2001Sun Dried Tomatoes Recalled for
Bristol, CT (SafetyAlerts) - Norpaco Inc. has
announced a recall affecting its 32oz. plastic containers of sun dried tomatoes with code
number 109050. The 32oz. plastic is the only container mislabeled, no other product is
affected by this recall. The product may contain undeclared sulfites.
No illnesses have been reported.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to sulfites run the risk of serious
allergic reaction if they consume this product.
The product was distributed to 14 Costco stores in New York and has since been
