Dried Lily Flower Recalled
City, NJ (SafetyAlerts) - The Food
and Drug Administration (FDA) said today that Well Luck Co. has recalled certain Husty
brand Dried Lily Flower because the product contains undeclared sulfites.
This is the first public notice of
this Class I
recall issued by FDA.
Husty brand Dried Lily Flower in 6 oz. (170g) plastic bags.
Fouzhou Golden Banyan Foodstuffs Co., Ltd., Fujian, China.
Well Luck Co., Jersey City, NJ., by two versions of the recall letter dated 12/12/00, (one
version in Chinese and one in English) and by press release on January 18, 2001. The New
York State Department of Agriculture and Markets initiated recall *complete.
*Completed recall: FDA states 'completed recall'
indicates the company has removed all affected product from store shelves, it does
not necessarily mean this particular product lot, or codes, have been fully accounted for.
DE, FL, IL, MA, MD, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA and VA.
