FDA First Notice: Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. Recalls Cole Slaw Dressing

Beaverton, OR (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said today that Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. has recalled Cole Slaw dressing because the product contains undeclared egg yolks.

This is the first public notice of this Class I recall issued by FDA.

Cole Slaw dressing in unlabeled plastic cups with plastic lids. Dressing is packed 12/16 oz. containers per case. Case labeling states "COLE SLAW DRESSING **".

Recall #F-263-1.

Cole Slaw Dressing: pull dates up to and including 121700.

Reser's Fine Foods, Inc., Beaverton, OR.

Manufacturer, by telephone on 9/28/00. Firm-initiated recall *complete.

*Completed recall: FDA states 'completed recall' indicates the company has removed all affected product from store shelves,  it does not necessarily mean this particular product lot, or codes, have been fully accounted for.

Oregon, Colorado, Arizona, and Idaho.
