Recalls Certain Corn Tortillas
KS (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and
Drug Administration (FDA) said today that Tortilla King, Inc. is recalling -
or has recalled - certain lots of its Mama Lupe's Fresh Corn Tortillas because the product
contains undeclared FD&C Yellow No. 5, FD&C Yellow No. 6 and FD&C Red No. 40.
This is the first public notice of
this Class II
recall issued by FDA.
Mama Lupe's Fresh Corn Tortillas in 25-oz. packages, 24 corn tortillas per package, 24
packages per case.
The responsible firm on the label is Tortilla King, Inc., Moundridge, KS.
Expiration date JAN 22 or earlier.
