Southern Heaven Creamsicle Fudge Recalled

First public notice issued by FDA of 'completed recall'...

Buffalo, NY (SafetyAlerts) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said today that Buffalo Tobacco, Inc. is recalling certain Southern Heaven Creamsicle Fudge.  The product contained undeclared FD&C Yellow No. 5 and FD&C Red No. 40.

This is the first public notice of this Class II recall issued by FDA.

Southern Heaven Creamsicle Fudge, in 4-ounce plastic tubs.

Recall #F-065-1.

CODE
Not coded. All products on market at time of recall initiation.

MANUFACTURER
Southern Heaven, Depew, New York.

RECALLED BY
Buffalo Tobacco, Inc., Buffalo, New York, by letter on August 29, 2000. **Completed recall resulted from sample analysis and follow-up by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets.
