Stop & Shop Homestyle Deli Turkey Breast Recalled

Boston, MA (SafetyAlerts) - Stop & Shop Supermarket Co. is recalling Stop & Shop 'Homestyle' Deli Turkey Breast sold over the deli counter between 12/14/99 and 1/14/00 because the product may be undercooked.  No other products sold by Stop & Shop are affected by the recall.

Because the product was sold over the deli counter, a spokesperson at Stop & Shop was unable to give  more information regarding indentifying codes etc.

Stop and Shop is conducting this recall in response to the recall of 146,000 pounds of turkey products distributed by Carolina Turkey announced last Friday.  To view the Carolina Turkey recall click here.

Stop and Shop is requesting consumers who have purchased this meat between 12/14/99 and 1/14/00 to return it for a full refund.
