Fresh Juice Co. Recalls Smoothies

Winter Haven, FL (SafetyAlerts) - According to an Associated Press story on Yahoo News, the Fresh Juice Co. located in Winter Haven, Florida is recalling its Frooja and Saratoga Smoothies because they may contain milk and egg proteins that were not listed on the label.

The product was distributed nationwide and affects  Saratoga Smoothie flavors banana, mango peach, strawberry banana, berry peach, raspberry and blackberry. The Frooja flavors are peach mango, Plentiful C, ginseng berry, strawberry banana, Fruit Salad and Protein Rapture.

The affected drinks are marked with expiration dates of between May 15 and July 12. The Saratoga Smoothies are in 16-ounce containers, while the Frooja comes in 12-ounce containers.

SafetyAlerts was unable to reach anyone at the company over the weekend, however according to a local news station consumers can call (770) 493-7030 for refund information.
