Georgia Food Inspectors Urge Return of Decorated Cakes Bought at Publix Store

Snellville, GA (SafetyAlerts) - Georgia Commissioner of Agriculture Tommy Irvin is advising consumers who  purchased decorated cakes on Saturday, February 5, from Publix #508, 1905 Scenic Highway, Snellville, not to eat the cakes but to return them to the store for a refund. 

``We have reports from consumers who allegedly became ill after eating decorated cakes from the store on that day,"  said Commissioner Irvin.  ``We are investigating and monitoring the situation with the assistance of Georgia Department of Human Resources' Public Health Laboratory."
